“Buddha and Buddhism”
There is a discipline called Buddhist philosophy,
But Buddhism is not a philosophy.
Buddhism is a profound and mystical religion.
Its teachings examine the relationship between
The spiritual world and this world.
Enlightenment in Buddhism is taught,
From the perspective of the spiritual world.
Everything in this world is constantly changing, including ourselves.
This worldview is shared by the bodhisattvas and tathāgatas.
The Buddha is a great sage, wielding divine powers.
He possesses the power of Avalokiteshvara,
Has realized the truth of the great universe,
And solved the mystery of humanity.
He is the one and only Buddha.
The core of his teachings is ‘Joogubodai Gekeshujo’.
By looking upward one may focus inward and awaken to Nirvana.
Once enlightened, one may look down and share his path with the masses.
These are rational teachings,
That illustrate how enlightened ones can save souls.
The Buddha still exists in the spiritual world,
He exists to help people achieve spiritual growth.
As long as people seek salvation and believe in the Buddha,
Buddhism is eternal.
「仏陀と仏教」
仏教哲学という学問があるが
仏教は哲学ではない
仏教とは奥深き神秘的な宗教
この世ならざる霊的世界と
現世の関係を説いている
仏教でいう悟りは
あの世の視点から説かれている
諸行無常や空の教えは正に然り
菩薩や如来の世界観も然りだ
仏陀は神通力を自在に操る
観自在力を有する大賢者
大宇宙の真理を悟り
人間とは何かを説き明かした
唯一無二の存在が仏陀なのだ
教えの中心は
上求菩提の教えで悟りへの道を示し
下化衆生の教えで菩薩への道を歩む
悟った者が衆生を救済するという
極めて合理性のある教えだ
人間が霊的成長が遂げられるよう
今も霊的世界に実在する仏陀
仏教は救いを求める者がいる限り
仏陀を信じる者がいる限り永遠である
