Kazuo Nakano

Kazuo Nakano has worked as an illustrator and graphic designer in Fukuoka, Matsue, and Tokyo. From the 2014 launch of his digital art collection Soul Art, Nakano is active today in Matsue and Kagoshima and hosts solo exhibitions at various locations.

１９５６年鹿児島県生まれ
福岡、松江、東京でイラストレーター、グラフィックデザイナーとして活動し、
2014年からデジタルアートSoul Artの創作開始。
現在、松江と鹿児島で活動しながら各地で個展を開催。

This is a collection of works expressing various motifs of nature, the cosmos, fantasy, faith, and Japan as digital art.
Amid the chaos in today’s world, I expressed each work, visually and through words, an earnest aspiration for a tranquil world, its people living together peaceably while holding their own hopes and dreams.
The thrust of Soul Art is growth and cleansing of the soul. Through life’s ups and downs, we should seek the light even in dark moments. Light abounds in each of these works, and the accompanying messages point the way to more positive, active living.

宇宙、自然、空想、信仰、日本とさまざまなモチーフをデジタルアートとして表現した作品集。
混沌とした世界の中で、一人ひとりの心が穏やかで夢や希望を抱きながら力強く生きられる世界になるよう、強い想いをメッセージとともに作品で表現した。
ソウルアートのテーマは「魂の浄化と向上」。人生には光と影があり、人は苦悩の中にも光を求めて生きようとする。人生をよりポジティブにアクティブに生きるためのヒントをそれぞれの作品のメッセージに込めた。
