Japanese people today no longer know their own mythology
Before World War II, mythology was even taught in school textbooks
Those passages were blacked out by the GHQ
And in time, mythology disappeared completely from educationThe British historian Arnold J. Toynbee once warned
“A nation that loses its mythology will perish within one hundred years”
Eighty years have passed since the war, and only twenty remain
Will Japanese mythology rise again before that time comesThe Constitution of Japan states that the Emperor
Is the symbol of the nation and the unity of the Japanese people
Yet the historical foundations of the Imperial line are no longer taught in schools
Should the Japanese people truly remain indifferent to this
Emperor Naruhito, His Majesty the Emperor, is the 126th Emperor of Japan
