“Paradise of the Soul”
The Buddha-nature dwells
Within all living creatures
Buddha’s light shines on everything
From humans all the way to
Plants, animals, and minerals
In this complex and diverse worldview
We are all dependent on each other
To thrive and survive
There are different ways of living
But all end with the fulfillment of our mission
And our return to the original world
With this repetition, life evolved
Over an unimaginably long time
There may be times of hardship
There may be times when we fall into despair
There may be times when we want to die
But these moments are brief
If we measure them in soul-time
Hardship and pain
Are the fuel of our spiritual growth
And undoubtedly, someday we can return
To that original place, the Paradise of the Soul
「魂の楽園」
生きとし生けるもの
すべてに仏性は宿っている人間はもとより
植物や動物、鉱物にいたるまで
仏の光が宿っている
複雑で多様な世界観
お互いが何かしら依存し合い
生かし生かされている
この世の命の在り方は違うが
個々が命ある限りその使命を全うし
本来の世界へと還っていく
進化とは途方もない時間の中での
その繰り返しなのだ
人生は辛いと思う時もあるだろう
もう死にたいと思う時もあるだろう
絶望の淵で彷徨う時もあるだろう
しかし魂の時間で計ったなら
ほんの一瞬の出来事なのだ
その苦しみや痛みこそ
魂が成長するための糧なのだから
そして、いつかは必ず還れるのだ
本来の場所「魂の楽園」へ
