412 Buddhism and Views on Life

“Buddhism and Views on Life”

In your seemingly mundane life,
It is a blessing if you feel happiness,
But if you feel bored, it is a disaster.
Boredom is the beginning of unhappiness.

Boredom exists in people with no outlook on life.
Happiness and unhappiness are determined by our outlook on life.

Buddhism teaches the principle of cause and effect.
There are causes and there are results.
If the causes are from our own thoughts and actions,
We should reflect and correct them.

We should be thankful for being alive.
Within the position and environment we are in,
We should work sincerely and always be creative.
Then the whining and complaining will disappear.

What we have been given is washed away,
What we have been given is carved in stone,
Unbound by worldly values.
Always keep the teachings of the Buddha in our hearts.

If you know the Buddha’s teachings,
You will gain the strongest and best outlook on life.
The more you know, the deeper your understanding,
You will live a life that is far from boring.
