314 Light that Shines in the Darkness

“Light that Shines in the Darkness”

Darkness is terrifying.

The fear when we can’t see anything,
The despair we feel with any great loss
Is embodied in the loss of light.
Humankind is innately created to fear darkness.

If the Moon did not exist,
Nighttime would be pitch black.
But the Moon itself does not illuminate,
It reflects the Sun’s light
In a soft and subtle echo.

While sunlight sweeps away darkness,
Moonlight envelops the dark
In a gentle, tranquil, glorious light
That invites quietude, healing, sleep.

Wrapped in moonlight,
The soul is cleansed and reborn.
