Life is like boarding a little boat
And sailing out to sea
To avoid losing your way
You’ll need a compass and a chart
Traveling without these
Is very dangerous
A chart describes the destination
And goal of your life,
But first you must decide
Where you are heading
The compass is a guide
Keeping you on course
There is neither sign nor road in the ocean
A navigator uses the stars to find his way
And a weather map to avoid the storms
Let your confident heart be your compass
And your faith in the Divines be your stars
Even if you stray in the wrong direction
As long as you have these, you can change your course
We need determination and careful planning
For the great voyage of life
「人生の航海」
人生は小さな船に乗り
大海原に船出するようなもの
大海原を迷いなく航海するには
航海図と羅針盤が必要だろう
それを持たずに航海するのは
危険きわまりないことだ
航海図とは人生の目標、目的地
自分の人生の行き先のこと
どこへ向かって生きていくのか
まずは決めるべきだろう
羅針盤は人生の目標、目的に
正しくたどり着くための指針
大海原に標識や道はない
航海士は星を見て航路を決める
嵐や悪天候を避ける天気図も必要だ
羅針盤とは己を信じる心と
星にあたるのが神仏への信仰心
もし間違った方向に向かっても
それがあれば軌道修正は簡単だ
人生の航海には
大いなる覚悟と準備が必要なのだ
