An adherent of materialism believes the human spirit lives in the brain.
He rejects anything without scientific proof.
But can that be the basis of science?
Surely, searching for the yet unknown
Is the mission of the scientist.
The greater the scientist, the greater his faith.
Isaac Newton and Albert Einstein,
By no means materialists,
Believed all phenomena in this world were divine feats.
The scientist’s investigation surely extends into the spiritual realm,
For that is the mission of the true and accomplished scientist.
Though today there is a gap between faith and science,
In hundreds or thousands of years what will surely be proved is this:
As scientific insights illuminate understanding of the spiritual realm,
Faith is the endeavor of the sensible person.
