“Endless Journey”
Life is a journey of the soul.
Each time we are reborn
Into new surroundings,
All memory of the past life is lost
And we begin again
The people we meet in this life
Are tied to us by a shared past:
A wonderful reunion
Or a disastrous one.
Countless dramas unfold
And emotions rise up
In Buddhism, this is ‘reincarnation’
The choice of whether to believe
In the soul’s truth is yours alone—
It will profoundly affect your life
From the day we enter this world
To the day that we leave it,
The time we are given is God’s love
Use it carefully, and with gratitude
We can only hope to choose wisely
Our beliefs and our way of life
On the endless journey of the soul
「遥かなる旅」
人生は魂の旅
生まれ変わるたびに
新しい時代、新しい環境
すべての過去世の記憶は消え
ゼロからのスタートをきる
今世で出会う人たちは
過去世に何らかの縁があった人々
素晴らしい再会も
最悪の再会もある
数々のドラマが生まれ
喜怒哀楽が展開する
これが仏教でいう転生輪廻
魂の真実を信じるか信じないかは
個々の判断に委ねられているが
その判断は人生に大きく影響する
この世に生まれてから死ぬまで
与えられた時間という神の愛に
感謝し、大切に使い切る
永遠に続く魂の旅
何を信じてこの世を生きるかの
誤った判断だけはしたくないものだ
