“Eternity”
Impermanence is a reality of this world
History contains both rise and decline
There are no eternal things
But there is such a thing as “eternity”
We value power and glory
Wealth and social status
A working body and a sharp mind
These blessings bring freedom
To those who obtain them
But what we do with them is worthless
If it is done without love,
Leaving only wreckage
Of a covetous heart
In this world, there is a limit to what can be accomplished
No matter how powerful or prosperous,
Each of us must face our own demise
Eternity is love:
The place where the soul lives on
Our bodies fall, but our souls will never die
「永遠なるもの」
諸行無常はこの世の摂理
栄枯盛衰は歴史の真実
永遠なるものはこの世にない
しかし「永遠」という言葉は存在する
この世で価値あるといわれる
権力や名誉、財力や家柄、健康や知識
これらを持っている者、獲得した者は
この世での自由を手に入れる
それを得て何を成すか
心に愛なくば無価値であり
欲望に支配された残骸が残るだけ
この世で実現可能なことは限界があり
どれほどの栄華を極めようが
命の終焉とともに終わりを迎える
永遠なるもの
それは愛であり魂が生き続けるところ
肉体は滅びても決して滅びはしない
