“The Light of Buddha”
The vast cosmos is full of mysteries,
All rooted in the nature of light.
Through light’s absolute and inviolate existence,
Balance is maintained and the cosmos grows and evolves.
The consciousness that rules the cosmos
Lives in the eternal Buddha known as Vairocana.
Just as a human being is the embodiment of one’s consciousness,
The cosmos is the embodiment of Vairocana’s consciousness.
That is, the buddhakaya, the body of Buddha.
The light of Buddha lives in the human heart as well.
Merciful and compassionate, it is the essence of the Buddha nature.
Rules guide the expressions of the heart:
With positivity come feelings of inclusion and belonging,
With negativity come feelings of exclusion and separation.
In the face of cosmic mysteries,
We humans are no more than
Son-Gokū (“Monkey King”) in the classic Saiyūki (“Journey to the West”).
「仏光」
大宇宙は神秘に満ちている
その本質は光であり法
絶対的な存在により
バランスが保たれて生成発展する
この宇宙を統べる意識が
永遠の仏陀「毘盧遮那仏」
人間が意識の集合体であるように
宇宙は毘盧遮那仏の意識の集合体だ
すなわち仏身そのもの
人間の心にも仏の光が宿っている
それが仏性といわれるものの本質
ポジティブ意識には親和性があり
ネガティブ意識には排他性がある
心で起こる現象には法則がある
大宇宙の神秘の前には
人間は西遊記の孫悟空でしかない
