“Spiritual Survival”

During any calamity,
Any hardship,
Have the courage and spirit to face it.
Never give up,
Never retreat.

The Japanese must be strong.

To attain the spirit needed in a time of crisis,
We must abandon self-aggrandizement and self-preservation,
We must embrace altruism and serve the world.
We must prepare for survival.

The Japanese must survive.

Not only to spare lives,
Not only for the sake of procreation,
But because we have an important story to share,
That is, the meaning of human life on Earth.

The Japanese must tell the world.

Human existence is spiritual.
We are born into this world to improve our souls.
When our soul training is complete we return to the other world.
We do this over and over again.
Truth is the foundation of hope.

The Japanese must be a lighthouse for the world.

Modern-day evil comes from materialistic values.
There are those who are dominated by the values of darkness.
When we each shine the light of our heart,
Together we can overcome the darkness.
Spiritual values will eradicate the darkness.

Spiritual survival has begun.
