Where is Japan headed?
It’s a serious responsibility of our leaders.
Their inaction or mistaken action
Leads the nation straight to crisis.

The Constitution of Japan
Makes no clear statement
Protecting citizens’ lives or property.
It rejects the use of military force, even in the people’s defense.

Japan’s military—the absurdly labeled Self-Defense Forces—
Is officially under civilian control and exclusively for defensive purposes.
Can this arrangement possibly protect the nation?!

Wake up, Japan!
The neighboring countries aren’t all friendly and well-intentioned.
To some, human life is no more than that of an ant.
And you trust that kind of place?

To leaders who choose short-term gain over long-term results, listen up:
You are leading the nation on a path to ruin.

Wake up and do what’s right!
A nation whose character wavers cannot protect its people.
Add language to the constitution to assure the people’s defense!
Only an enlightened Japan assures her people’s happiness.
