“Hope Dwells In The Forgiving Heart”
“No matter what, I cannot forgive.”
I hear people say that sometimes
But words like these
Are a curse upon the heart
If you explain, others might sympathize
Perhaps they would understand
And say it’s reasonable not to forgive
But in truth, a heart that can’t forgive
Will only punish itself,
Pushing happiness further out of reach
Even though it takes time,
We can make an effort to forgive
And in the process, free our hearts
Forgiveness is the noble heart
Forgiveness is the saintly heart
Hope dwells in the forgiving heart
「許す心は希望とともに」
許せない！絶対に許せない！
そんな言葉を聞く時がある
それは心を蝕む呪いの言葉
理由を言えば同情もされるだろう
多くの人が納得もするだろう
許せないのはもっともだと
しかし真実は違う
許せない心は自分を苦しめ
どんどん幸せから遠ざける
時間は掛かるだろうが
許すことに精進することだ
許すことで心は解放される
許す心は高潔な心
許す心は菩薩の心
許す心は希望とともに
